About Me

I am Faria Raha. I am pursuing my MS in Civil Engineering degree at Northern Arizona University. My research focus is transportation safety with a focus on vulnerable road users, i.e., pedestrians and bicyclists. I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from BUET. After that I worked at Arman Engineering as a Structural Engineer.

I love traveling and trying new recipes.

I work at the AZTrans lab of NAU under the supervision of Dr. Edward Smaglik, Dr. Brendan Russo, and Dr. Steven Gehrke. My research area is transportation safety with a focus on vulnerable road users, i.e., pedestrians and bicyclists. I have presented three first-authored papers in TRB Annual Meeting 2024.
